On-Site Evaluation
We will visit your site and assess how your location is exposed to climate hazards and site-specific vulnerabilities that may impact your organisation
Overview
The key objective of the on-site assessment is to increase the climate resilience of your organisation's site, requiring an understanding of the level of impact from climate events, considering the climate change implications. Our approach is solution-oriented and driven by our deep knowledge of our customer's operations and the location-specific data, refined by dedicated on-site assessment by our global network of specialists.
Onsite assessments are highly recommended for any critical locations. Our risk engineering specialists will walk through your site and carry out a review of your operations at this location including the critical infrastructure, utilities and suppliers. We will also assess the quality of your controls including the physical controls, such as engineered measures, and the organisational controls such as employee safety, emergency response planning, monitoring and resource management.
Using scenario-based modelling informed by climate data we can develop potential loss scenario’s giving you an idea of the impact to your business from certain climate scenarios. Our overall approach will identify your site's physical and organisational protection measures, and aims to understand the existing situation, current climate hazard risk, and future change to your organisation in order to determine the right solutions to help the site mitigate the risk.
