Overview

The effects of climate change are becoming more prominent with an increased frequency, such as wildfires , extreme heat, and flooding. Natural hazards and climate risks can cause business interruption at your customers’ or suppliers’ locations and disrupt the flow of products or information.

Suppliers and customers are key to the success of any organisation. This assessment identifies climate change impacts to your organisation’s value chain assets such as critical supplier, customer or distribution sites until 2100. We assess the hazards across a network of sites, which can include suppliers and utilities.

We combine the hazard data with information on the exposures and can include additional risk factors such as site vulnerability, existing protection measures or local infrastructure quality. This provides you with greater insight on exposures and can help to prioritise resilience assessments across locations. The assessment helps you understand the value chain at risk and the robustness of sourcing strategies against the impact of climate change now and in the future.
