Contingency Business Interruption (CBI) and Interdependency Risk Assessments
A comprehensive property business interruption assessment that will focus on the suppliers and the customers of your supply chains.
Overview
Contingent Business Interruption (CBI) is the losses an organisation can be exposed to as a result of interruptions in the supply chain. This may result from a vendor not being able to supply goods, or an organisation not being able to meet customer demands.
Our solution uses the Zurich risk analysis methodology, and we carry out an extensive supply chain risk assessment to provide you with a deeper understanding of CBI risks you face. We will look at business interruption risks at a site level for your organisation, as well as on a Group level for sites with commonality in production processes or dependency on one another.
In addition to assessing external supply chains, we also look at internal supply chains through an interdependency analysis to understand internal value chains, critical production processes and readiness of capacity. This will give you a better picture of how your organisation is exposed to CBI risks.
